The Golden LiteRider Envy wheelchair is an electric chair helping seniors or anyone with limited mobility to increase their mobility in their home or around town. The LiteRider by Golden is more of a powerchair than a scooter.  This personal transport chair breaks down in four easy to assemble pieces and can be reassembled in less than five minutes. The electric chair is very lightweight, with the heaviest piece only about 35 pounds. It features an under the seat basket for seniors to keep personal items as they move on the go. The comfortable padded seat is 17″ wide and only 16″ deep, yet an upgraded stadium seat  that is 20 inches wide is also available for heavier individuals. The LiteRider Envy is controlled by a joystick that can be put on either the right or left side of the chair. The total weight of the standard model of the LiteRider is 300 pounds; however, heavy duty models may go up to 350 lbs. The chair provides rear-wheel drive power, non-marking rubber tires, with hubcaps attached.

The average drive range is around 15.5 miles and the speed is approximately 3.5 MPH, making the Golden LiteRider Envy electric chair a quick transport to a variety of destinations in one trip. Whether if you are just running a few errands or just riding around the block, the LiteRider will get any senior to their destination with ease.

User Product Questions answered by a REAL user of the Golden LiteRider Envy Electric Wheelchair

Online Senior Center >> What would you say is the best feature of the Golden LiteRider Envy Electric wheelchair?

Helen T. >> I purchased my LiteRider a few weeks ago, yet I am completely satisfied with how it performs. As for me, there is not really one best feature. However, one of the best features of LiteRider is how easy it is to maneuver around in. I can move from one side of my home to the other with ease and the joystick is simple to control. I also like that because of its super-compact size, it can fit easily in the trunk of my SUV or in any truck size vehicle. In addition, the battery life of the LiteRider lasts a long time, so I do not have to charge it as often.

Online Senior Center >> How smooth is the ride when in use?

Helen T. >> The Golden LiteRider Envy Electric chair is very quiet and provides me with a smooth ride each time I get in it. Getting into the chair itself is not difficult because of the good height range. The Golden LiteRider also moves pretty smoothly on either carpet or wood floors, and does not leave any markings on the floor. I like that it has large, rubber tires, which is better than plastic ones that often leaves marks.

Online Senior Center >> Is the seat padded and how comfortable is it?

Helen T. >> Since I am a little heavy set, I chose the extra-large stadium-size padded seat that is 20 inches wide. The seat of the LiteRider Envy is very comfortable to sit in, even for long periods of time. I can even fit the electric chair under my dining room table, so I do not have to transport to a regular chair as often, which proves how convenient it is to use.

Online Senior Center >> Is the price worth it?

Helen T. >> The price of my LiteRider Envy Electric Chair seems reasonable for the value of having extra mobility in my daily life. I like that the company also has good tech support that is readily available to help with any concerns or issues I may have. The people are also easy to understand and the product comes with a good warranty that is satisfactory to my needs.  I would definitely recommend anyone to buy the LiteRider Envy electric chair.

Online Senior Center >> Is there anything you do not like about it or you would like to change?

Helen T. >> At this point of owning my LiteRider Envy Electric Chair, I can honestly say I would not really change anything about it. Although, The weight capacity may need to be considered for people who are extremely overweight or obese. When they say it has a weight limit of 300 pounds, I would hope seniors or people buying this powerchair know they should be honest about how much they truly weigh and may consider a heavy-duty model if they are over 300 pounds. Overall, I can honestly say the LiteRider Envy electric chair has satisfied my expectations.
